Our Physician-taught program provides extensive laser theory, practical training for evaluating and treating your future clients, as well as a two day hands-on instruction. Physician taught, from start to finish in Atlanta, Georgia & NYC, making this course one of the greatest and most inclusive and exclusive top Assistant and Senior Laser Practitioner Training courses taught by an M.D. throughout the U.S. During the course, our Medical Director will teach laser theory and safety as well as a comprehensive approach to a laser treatment plan for your clients. Medical laser practitioner and owner of Laser Aesthetics Career Institute will also provide in-depth training on laser treatment steps, from your first encounter with your client through their follow-up care. You will then break out for hands-on use of each laser giving you the opportunity to perform laser treatments. This course meets Georgia Medical Board Guidelines for Senior Laser Practitioner and Assistant Laser Practitioner Continuing Education Requirements. In the United States you will find that most laser courses run a total of 5 hours. Most states only require schools to offer at least 5 hours of training in which the hands-on portion is fit into that short time frame. Unfortunately, the amount of hands-on experience needed to run a successful laser business or work for a company is not received in this short amount of time. Laser institutes are cramming pertinent information into a short 1 day experience that leaves most students in a bad predicament because they aren't able to remember required techniques needed to operate safe laser treatments after graduating their program.

Laser Aesthetic Career Institute is a school that was designed to train estheticians and future Georgia laser technicians how to safely operate on all skin types, with an emphasis on skin types 5 and 6. According to the Census Bureau the state of Georgia has the 4th largest Black population in the United States with 3,495,258 African Americans. Studies show that a higher percentage of Africans suffer from skin diseases caused from excessive hair growth on areas of the body that are more prone to breakouts. Initially, there are many African Americans in the state of Georgia and all over the world who are in dire need of permanent laser hair removal treatments.

One in every ten black women suffer from PCOS, and sixty to eighty percent of black men suffer from Pseudo folliculitis barbae (ingrown hairs). Laser hair removal treatments have helped to change the lives of many of these individuals, however, there are a low percentage of laser technicians and physicians in the state of Georgia and New York City who are practicing with laser machines that are safe on all skin types. Furthermore, most laser schools in Atlanta are only offering hands on training with lasers that are not safe for darker skin types. This is a problem! For many years the world has been in need of a laser education system that will teach other technicians who plan to operate on all skin types, the way to safely and effectively treat dark skin as well. Darker skin burns easily, and many laser techs in the state of Georgia and worldwide are extremely nervous about

treating and accidentally burning darker skin types, which is also understandable being that most laser technicians are Caucasian and are more familiar with practicing on others with the same skin type. If a laser technician is use to operating on only one or two skin types, it can be difficult to understand the most effective way to treat a skin type that they are unfamiliar with even if the laser machine is safe for all skin types. Moreover, a plethora of now licensed laser technicians have stated that the laser school they attended in the past, and received laser certifications from, only trained them to use lasers that operate on skin types 1 to 3. This wouldn’t be helpful to an African American laser student who understands that most of his or her future laser clientele will more than likely have a darker skin tone. Furthermore, if you are an African American esthetician studying to become a laser technician, a class that trains with only lasers that cater to lighter skin types can also be discouraging and quite embarrassing in a room with other techs who can’t practice on your skin the day of practicals because of the laser machine being only useful to skin types 1 to 3. Laser Aesthetics Career Institute is a school that was created to adhere to the lack of aesthetic education and medical laser training on darker skin, while focusing on all skin types 1 through 6. Lecture & Extended Hands on Training

1. 2 hour lecture

A 2 hour lecture will take place in a classroom setting separate from the hands-on training location. Day 1 lecture will take place in a classroom and the hands-on portion will take place at Laser Aesthetics Career Institute. Day 2 lecture will take place at L.A.C.I as well. Each lecture begins with a prayer to our God. Prayer unites groups of individuals and will strengthen everyone's relationship with God. God is the gate keeper to the blessings in stored for everyone who chooses laser as an occupation. Furthermore, running a laser hair removal clinic will be very lucrative to any individual. In fact, the hair removal business is already a multi-billion dollar industry.

All students are required to be at each lecture 30 minutes prior to the starting time.

A 1 hour lecture will take place in L.A.C.I. spa at the exact location of the hands-on training of Day 1. 2531 Piedmont road NE Atlanta, Ga. 30324. The hands-on portion of Day 2 activities will take place at Laser Aesthetics Career Institute. Each lecture will begins with a prayer to our God. All students are required to be at each lecture 30 minutes before the starting time.

Upon completion of this medical laser training and aesthetic course, you will be able to:

Understand the fundamentals of how a laser interacts with skin tissue
Explain how different types of light-based devices interact with the skin

L.A.C.I. is an apprenticeship program that accepts no liability.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a refund, students must cancel no later than two weeks before the date of their first class. There will be a $500 cancellation penalty which is the Booking/Registration fee : $500 .The tuition payment of each course will be refunded in full if you cancel your registration two weeks prior to attending classes and that is only for students who have payed their full tuition prior at anytime two weeks before class starts. Booking/Registration fee will be deducted from any reimbursement and the registration fee of $500 will not be reimbursed. L.A.C.I. accepted methods of payment : Zelle/Cash.

L.A.C.I. Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements

Under Georgia law, an assistant laser practitioner may perform laser hair removal and intense pulsed light treatments without direct supervision. Anyone over the age of 18 with a passion for aesthetics is eligible to take a hands-on extended training course, however, all students who have already acquired their Aesthetic, Master of Cosmetology, Nursing licenses, Senior and Assistant laser license, are eligible to practice in the future after completion of L.A.C.I's credited laser program that has given the three certifications needed to provide to the Georgia State Board for licensing. This class is a certification licensing program that is physician taught by a Georgia licensed physician and intended to further educate students that have already received there esthetitician license along with others who have not but would like to receive their esthetician license in the future and laser certifications from our accredited program. L.A.C.I. is an extended hands-on training course that is here as an extension to courses that you have already taken in the past. ANYONE IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE AN EXTENDED HANDS-ON TRAINING COURSE WITH YAG LASERS, however, in order to operate in Georgia after this apprenticeship program, individuals with an esthetician license will be able to mail the three certifications provided by Dr. Romell that will show you have knowledge of 3 laser devices to receive active assistant practitioner or senior licensing in the state of Georgia. Those without their esthetician license are eligible to take this class, but would also have to get their Georgia esthetician license and with attendance of this accredited laser certifications class that hands out three laser certifications. Moreover, many states do not require you to have an esthetician license before receiving certification to become a licensed laser technician. Students must either be a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Master Cosmetologist, and/or Registered Nurse to obtain state certifications and actually practice, however hands on training are available to anyone that signs up! Most laser schools in the state of Georgia require students to have an esthetician license before taking this aesthetic and laser training course. Conclusively, Each student will graduate with a certificate of L.A.C.I. completion and will leave with a plethora of knowledge that has been accumulated from over 10 years of practicing safe treatments with permanent results on all 6 skin types.

Stipulations & Suitability

Anyone over the age of 18 with a passion for aesthetics is eligible to take a hands-on extended training course, however, all students who have already acquired their Esthetician license or are in the process of receiving there esthetician license, or others who have a Master of Cosmetology license, Nursing license, Senior or Assistant laser license, are eligible to practice in the future in the state of Georgia after completion of this physician taught credited laser program that has given them three certifications to turn into the state. This class is a certification program that is intended to further educate students that have already received training along with others who haven't and would like to receive their license and certification from this accredited school in the future. L.A.C.I. is a hands-on training course that is here to provide licensing along with the best training in the United States. ANYONE IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS HANDS-ON TRAINING COURSE WITH YAG , DIODE, & ALEXANDRITE LASERS, however, in order to operate after this apprenticeship program in the state of Georgia, individuals must have an esthetician license unless your state does not require you to have a license before practicing with a laser. Students must be either be a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Master Cosmetologist, and/or Registered Nurse to obtain state certifications and actually practice, however hands on training is available to anyone that signs up!

Code of Conduct

Smoking, drinking, and use of illegal drugs is not permitted on premises. Cell phone use is prohibited during course hours (other than for emergency purposes). Students are responsible for providing their own school supplies. ALL students will be given scrubs and lab coats and a laser course book written by Ray Fair entitled "Zap Life Virtuosity" upon arrival.... students are welcome to bring their own clothing as well.
